Students of Tara Shire State College are able to attend a variety of Camps to aid in their development and to learn specific skills. Camps are offered at different times during the year to students in the upper Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Phases of learning areas.
Excursions usually parallel units of work students are working on in the classroom. But attendance is based on positive behaviour at school by attending students. Senior students attend Career Days and University Open Days to expose them to a broad range of post school options.
