Try A Trade – Try
A Trade is an exciting initiative that allows students the opportunity to do
just as the name suggests; Try A Trade. Attendees not only sample a trade, but
gain invaluable career advice from apprentices, trainers, local employers and
industry representatives.
Our Ways –
Presented by USQ, is a Year 10 program designed
to provides our students with important cultural knowledge for developing
leadership abilities. Our Ways engages Elders, important Community Members and
University students as mentors to help our students develop these skills and
abilities.
UQ Young Achievers
Program – Is an exciting initiative which aims to support the tertiary
study and career aspirations of senior secondary school students who might not
otherwise have access to university as a post-school option.
